Not sure what the situation was with the comments discussing the lack of service for non-regulars, but we stopped through on a Saturday morning and had nothing but pleasant, quick service. Delicious food with low prices!

I asked a local for a local breakfast spot and I got a local breakfast spot run by the locals and inhabited by the locals. From the Nebraska Cornhusker memorabilia adorning the walls to the waitresses that knew all the customers by name. It was the kind of place you imagine when I say, "Hey! Meet me at Woodees and let's talk Husker football and how this darn weather is killing the crops!" Yep. Exactly what you'd imagine.
The service was super friendly and attentive - my coffee cup never runeth half empty before they were offering a refill. The food was cheap. And good! Have you ever had a veggie omelet stuffed with hash browns before? I have. And if you go to Woodees, you can too.
I recommend if you're a tourist looking for a little local flavor or if you're a local looking to escape tourists. 5 stars. -

Not sure how Woodees has obtained its rating, but service was extremely slow and unfriendly. It appears that clientele is local regulars and if you're not familiar, your service will suffer. Also, ordered the breakfast special, two eggs over medium that came out of kitchen not even room temperature. Do not recommend.

I was in town for business. I looked and found this little gem on Yelp. The food was fantastic and great value for what I paid. The service was very personable. The owner Lynette was awesome. I was by myself but felt like I was in my daily haunt. She made my experience wonderful. Family owned and operated. A family affair. It was so good I went back for lunch and was equally pleased. She remembered my name at lunch which was shocking as I had only eaten there once. When I return I will be eating here daily. Highly recommend starting your day off here.

The most basic breakfast place. If you want eggs hashbrowns and simple sausage, this is the place. Plus they open early
